Fast. Precise. Intelligent.
Modern Security Reconnaissance Engine — Autonomous Attack Chaining & Real Data Extraction
NICE_SCAN is a professional-grade offensive security tool that combines high-performance HTTP scanning, intelligent technology fingerprinting, and an autonomous Decision Engine that chains attacks, extracts real data, and generates professional HTML reports — all from a single command.

go installonly. No Scoop bucket, Winget identity or Homebrew tap is published — commands circulating elsewhere (includingwinget install --id NICE-DEV226.nice-Scanorscoop install nice-scan/nice_scan) target package IDs this project does not own and may install unrelated software.
The installer is fail-closed: it resolves one release tag, verifies the SHA256 checksums and the GPG signature first, and aborts with nothing installed if any step fails.
Linux / macOS (installs to ~/.local/bin)
curl -sfL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/NICE-DEV226/nice-Scan/main/scripts/install.sh | shOr with Go 1.24+ (builds from the pinned release tag):
go install github.com/NICE-DEV226/nice-Scan/cmd/nice_scan@vX.Y.ZWindows (PowerShell 7+, installs to %LOCALAPPDATA%\nice_scan)

Anchored builds only — replace
X.Y.Zwith the current release tag.@latestis accepted by the Go toolchain but is not the installer's contract; the official installer resolves and pins one tag.

Actual state — verified inventory (not marketing):
| Layer | Actual State | Verification Command |
|---|---|---|
| Binary Integrity | SHA256 checksums published per release | sha256sum --check checksums.txt --ignore-missing |
| Release Authenticity | GPG-signed checksums.txt when signing keys are configured |
gpg --verify checksums.txt.sig checksums.txt |
| Code Integrity | Commits are not systematically GPG-signed | check individually: git log --show-signature |
| Build Provenance (SLSA/cosign) | GitHub build-provenance attestations + cosign keyless bundles emitted at release time (releases cut after 2026-10-24; nothing retroactive) | gh attestation verify <file> -R NICE-DEV226/nice-Scan |
| SBOM | syft SBOM intended per release — check the release assets | verify presence before relying on it |
| Distribution | GitHub Releases + go install <tag> (no brew/winget/scoop packages today) |
— |
The installers (scripts/install.sh, scripts/install.ps1) are fail-closed:
a missing checksum file, an uncovered archive or a failed signature aborts with
nothing installed. The go install path anchors strictly to the resolved
release tag — no @latest, no main HEAD.

# Most trustworthy: build from a pinned tag (audit the code you run)
git clone --branch v0.1.0 https://github.com/NICE-DEV226/nice-Scan.git && cd nice-Scan && go build ./cmd/nice_scanNote: the maintainer GPG key is imported on first use from
keyserver.ubuntu.com(hkps) and must match the pinned fingerprint4CE466095C5B3185883288C593FBFE29F62FA4DB(verified out-of-band on the same keyserver; published in SECURITY.md) — a mismatched key makesinstall.shabort. For a hardcoded chain of trust, clone and build from source.
See SECURITY.md for the full security policy, including the scanner's risk-honesty statement (verified evidence vs. remote-text hints).
