Yearly DOY plots placed dates after February 28 at different x-coordinates in leap and non-leap years. The plotting output should align calendar dates without changing Earth Engine’s native DOY computations.

  • Plot alignment: Shift non-leap-year DOYs from March 1 onward by one day in seasonal plots; yearly plots inherit the adjustment.
  • Axis and documentation: Use leap-year month tick positions for normalized plots and document that the adjustment is display-only.
Non-leap March 1: DOY 59 → plotted DOY 60
Leap March 1: DOY 60 → plotted DOY 60
