Senior Software Engineer working mostly on Python backends: APIs, distributed and event-driven systems, and MLOps, shipped to production on AWS. Before software I did a PhD in Chemical Sciences, so I'm at home turning scientific code and models into reliable software.

  • Secure REST APIs in FastAPI and Django, with API design and testing (TDD) standards adopted across the team
  • Event-driven services with RabbitMQ, Redis and Celery, and microservices in Python and Kotlin on Kubernetes
  • MLOps: an in-house tool for scheduled retraining of scikit-learn models, and pipelines with Azure ML

How I like to work
