Summary

Jupyter can use different border colors for Command and Edit modes across platforms and themes. This lesson currently maps Command to gray and Edit to blue, which conflicts with the macOS behavior reported in #243.

  • Identify the modes by their names and keyboard shortcuts, not by a fixed color mapping.
  • Update the solution and related shortcut guidance to refer to Edit mode rather than relying on blue/gray borders.

Validation

Documentation-only change. The lesson site build was not run; CONTRIBUTING.md describes it as optional.

Closes #243

Clarify that Command and Edit modes are identified by mode and shortcut, while border colors can vary by platform and theme. Remove color-based shortcuts from the related lesson guidance.
